NAS Award in Molecular Biology recognizes work on innate immunity
The lab of Philip Kranzusch, Professor of Microbiology at Harvard Medical School and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, regularly uses beamtime at NE-CAT to examine the question of innate immunity. NE-CAT has provided beamtime to assist in elucidation of structures important to innate immunity such as caspase recruitment domains (CARDs). His previous work has been featured as an APS Science Highlight. This month, he is the recipient of National Academy of Sciences Award in Molecular Biology which recognizes a recent notable discovery by a young investigator who is a citizen of the United States. Check out all of Philip's Kranzusch's work that uses NE-CAT or his feature video from last year when he was the 2025 Blavatnik National Awards Laureate in Life Sciences.
