The Robotic Sample Automounter (aka Robot) is an automated cryogenic crystal mounting system that is aimed at increasing experimental efficiencey and reliability at NE-CAT. The Robot is a modified ALS-Style BAM built in-house by the NE-CAT Technical Team.  

• The Robot storage dewar can hold 14 cryopucks (ALS-Style or Uni-Puck).
• We recommend CrystalCap ALS (HR4-779), CrystalCap SPINE HT (HR8-112), MiTeGen B1A, and MiTeGen B5 bases.
• All pins must be 18mm in length.
• All bases must be dry when freezing samples.
